The Importance of Patience
Christian hope is not rooted in getting what I want or it's not rooted in any particular set of outcomes. In fact, Christian hope might mean waiting patiently in the opposite. It might actually mean failing publicly. This might even be necessary for those who are used to winning. Those Christians we have to remember that there are more important things than success. We need this ability to wait patiently because how many times in our lives when we look around and say, "I didn't think it would be like this"
