The episode of ancient aliens opened up with yet again, one of those very annoying statements where they're like, is it possible that the the myans got their intelligence from somewhere else? And it's like, why can't you just give people credit for making cool stuff? I feel like the overarching theme of viewing things in their context is really important. It was another time when mya people were abused, had their culture abused for pseudo science effort.
