The Effect of the Oil Embargo on Consumers
Inflation is another form of tax. You don't want to couple it with tax increases on top of that. The gasoline lines that existed as a result of the oil embargo and the sharp increase in price, fast forward now,. pulling up to the gas station and paying $6 to $6.50 a gallon is painful. That's the reason I think that a number of people want change. They don't want the policies in place that the government is now advocating because it's not selling.
