Canadian law changed a year or two ago to remove that reasonably foreseeable death criteria then they put a clause in to say that in I think 2023 so coming up this year then it would then open out to people who purely have mental health conditions as well. There's been a lot of a lot of resistance to that more recently I understand and I think that's been paused but I don't think there's been any intention to to remove it. If your only problem is a severe depression or schizophrenia or a personality disorder if you are suffering mentally then you know how will that affect your decision making power, he says.
