How to Choose the Right Shoes for Your Foot Shape
I'm a big fan of the ultra shoes, but I've found that they're more recent models have all been too thick and too cushioned and too heavy. The Hitagami is what I use as my my race shoe and my fast interval shoe. Those weird, the kind of, they've got that covering underneath the shoe, deteriorates very rapidly. And instability, it has to be avoided at all costs. That's the critical thing. If you are unstable, you will never gain that balance as you come into landing,. You will struggle to get back off the foot again. Then for you will lose a lot of energy, you'll waste tons of energy without stability.
