Johnny Ive and the Design Department at Apple

Johnny ive stepped down as the director of industrial design at apple. He was tired of having to fight against other departments in order to justify his design choices and have a decent place at the table when working on products. His father had experienced a stroke, so he travelled back to england to be with his dad. Johnny secured a 100 million dollar deal that prevented him from working with any direct competitors to apple.
