Gabon's Project Finance for Permanent Is a Global Conservation Leader

The country has pledged last year to protect 30% of its land, freshwater and ocean territory through a large scale conservation effort. When complete, the project will create 24,000 square kilometers of new marine, terrestrial and freshwater protected areas. It's incredible that a developing country can have this much of an overwhelming impact on the global environment.
