Why Do You Ask These Types of Questions About Menstruation?
ianin answers questions about mensturation in his new book. He says he is 'uncomfortable' with a rule that prevents him from praying during rasadon. The reason for the awkward relationship, ianin believes, is because of judaism. In Judaic tradition, menstruation is seen as dirty or unpurified and so we're told not to pray when you are on your period - even though it's an incredible blessing.
