Leerink Partners With Baupost to Buy Back SVB Securities
Jeff Leerink has partnered with Baupost to buy back what was formerly Leerink and then was SVB securities for a while. I think having them be an independent kind of investment bank again is good for the industry. And Mike, just a comment. I'm all for free markets. But it feels like we're headed towards federal regulation if the issues between how the lack of transparency interacts with conflict of interest don't get resolved.
