The Importance of Abstraction in the Design Process

John Defterios: John is an amazing UI designer. He says, if you're working with a web, you'll work faster without such an abstraction layer in the design process. But he's not advocating for designers to understand- If anything, he's arguing the opposite. Designers are pretty awesome. They understand HTML and CSS to a point where they could be web developers. What? And he says- Because they need that skill. It's like your number one skill. Not developing but design.
