The Future of Steelmaking
The steel industry as it exists has created entire towns that are steel towns where the only job maker is a steel factory. EAST will use green energy and ores to produce pure iron for the next 50 years at this plant. 30% of steel is made using EAF steelmaking, which is an electricity powered arc furnace used to melt scrap or RPR iron into steel. It's a wild process as well. You'll see sparks flying everywhere. Of course, all of that is coming from carbon intensity and CO2 that goes along with it.
