The Power of Scripture

Lewis believed that the Lord, the Spirit of God, prompted and pushed and pressured poets and prophets. He wasn't even bothered what the prehistory of a text was either. Lewis more interested in how the scripture comes to us and is presented to our senses so we can steep ourselves in it.
