Sydney had not seen Emily return back to the pub. She was nowhere to be found until hours later when her body was discovered by a factory worker who arrived for his shift early in the morning. Some people in the bar and around it said they remembered seeing Emily getting into a land Rover with a man described as about 50 years of age. But Guy noticed that at the crime scene, there were drag marks leading from an open space near the factory to where she was found.
