LZ Granderson: In your book, evicted, you say that there is an immense amount of money to be made off of the poor. He says it's so easy to soak the poor because no one is protecting them. LZ: I don't think it's helpful to sit around and point fingers at each other. You're we're both complicit, he says; how do you deal with that feeling? LZ: Well, I want to become a poverty abolitionist. I want to commit my life to divesting from poverty.
