Introduction
Nancy langston is the author of climate ghosts, migratory species in the anthropocene. She trained as an echologist but became interested in conflicts between colonial settlers and native peoples. Her last two books have focused on the upper great lakes; her new book looks at how we can partner with indigenous communities during rapid environmental change.
