Sub-Syphoid Approach in Obese Patients
You could use a central line kit, like a standard pigtail kit. I think you could also use just like an angeo cater, if it's long enough. You've reference sub typhoid, epical for chamber view, or a peristerna long. It can accumulate, i different locations, in different pations. Sometimes siting the patient up a little bit in bed may help the fluid accumulate more of an anterior position. My bias is generally to go after paristernal or n apical approach because the fluid is basically right underneath the chest wall.
