The prosecution wouldn't bring it up a trial, but Cowan's sometime handle online was Kaiser Sose. Kevin Spacey won an Oscar for his portrayal of an amoral con man and killer who fools police with a yarn about an imaginary murderous villain named Kaiser Sose from The Usual Suspects.
