Sally Kohn: There are many schools of psychoanalysis. If you go to a very traditional old school Freudian analyst, it's probably not going to be that pleasant. She says the Mounds triangle perspective and including parents in the perspective is for when you're working with kids where the dynamics are still going on right now. "Being able to identify what's happening and include these dynamics in the treatment can be as essential," she says.
