This is while i am in france in 17 83. This is the same time that we are writing the treaty of paris. The war will be coming to an end soon. So tell me what happened then? Well, it was this amazing, terrifying thing that happened. That summer was super, super, super hot. There were thunder storms. People were dying. Live stock was dying. Nobody knew what and god's name was going on. And that continued for months, into the next winter, which correspondingly, was the coldest winter on record.
How does lightning work? On this episode, Neil deGrasse Tyson and comic co-host Chuck break down the legendary science and inventions of Benjamin Franklin, live with chief editor of The Benjamin Franklin Papers, Ellen Cohn and Benjamin Franklin himself!
