I still think there's nothing wrong with Aave and Compound, which I don't know if it depends on oracle because they explicitly pick the super liquid assets as clatterals. So when you have a very liquid asset, those assets are hard to manipulate and therefore the oracles should be fine to me. But if you want to build a learning platform where the collateral is the long tail of illiquid assets, for example, NFTs, or a very illiquid, fungible token, then you probably don't want to rely on an oracle and you need a design that is custom for the user.
