"I feel like the last three years have challenged people with exactly what you're talking about to realize that belonging actually really matters to them," he says. "If I had a company with a lot of people in it, I'd say the first thing you got to do when you get here on your first day is update your LinkedIn profile and you need to maintain it." He adds: "Most people will not deal with the tension of finding new kinds of belonging ... They need to be pushed to do it".
