The Importance of Faith

The Wokeys, as they called us, were not committed to the true faith because we aren't committed to their very narrow and specific biblical interpretation. One of the hardest parts to me was really watching a thousand pastors tolerate the dehumanation of an entire people group. Anyone or anything that asks for equity is seen as a threat to Christian privilege. The question I would ask is who does their interpretation benefit? Mainly them. It seems that it gives them the justification to see other people as demonic enemies that are threatening their way of life.
