The sun king and the moon queen would dearly love to return the sea god's hospitality of many years. He explained that wherever he traveled, the water and its creatures had to come with him. In short, he could only visit if they had a very, very large palace in which to hold the ocean. At this, the moon queen clapped her hands together with delight. She said that it would be their pleasure to build the grandest, most spacious palace the world had ever known.
