John 1, 1 through 18 is the prologue with themes of divinity and discipleship. John 2 through 11 is called the book of signs by a lot of scholars. The second half of the Gospel is what I like to call the book of glory. And then chapter 21 is the epilogue added later it appears this post resurrection appearance on the Sea of Galilee.
