Why Hast Thou Broken Down Her Hedges?
Israel is a choice vine. It was brought out of egypt in the days of moses. God cleared out a new planting ground in a promised land and planted Israel there. He intended for it to grow into glorious plants of righteousness, trees of life. We talk about the cedars of lebanon. Why are they off in lebanon? Shouldn't they such glorious trees be growing right here in the land of promise? Well, here's the problem. Was it god that broke down the hedge, or was it the people? Because if god is our refuge, our protection, but we have alienated him by the way that we've lived, then we have broken
