The Remedy for Envy

I picked up during that retreat was the fact that so many of these capital vices force us into a fantastical way of life. I don't think we all live in a total fantasy, but the vice is a vice for a reason. Humility is not the sort of beating up of oneself, but it's recognizing that who I am that I'm not God and that God is God really. So yeah, we can practice ways of humility. We can pray to be made a holy but I don't know, I'd caution like don't pray to be humility.
