The Future of Generative AI

I think of large language models and generative AI as being a title wave that we can run in front of for a while, but maybe eventually the wave is just going to crash over us. We should be asking what can I do that the machine cannot yet do? And whatever that is, chase that until the machine can then do that thing and then we move on to the next thing. So if we are not going to have this tidal wave crash over us, it will be because humanity will realize that there are human things that the machines can't yet do.
