The Importance of Precedent Cases
There's a school of self-help that I'm not too familiar with but in the NLP CyberSiberSibernetics realm which talks a lot about modeling precedent cases. So the idea goes if somebody else has done it then you can too and in order to do it there's a you have to create the same kinds of actions that they created for example. The certainty of the possibility like you just said it you can fulfill your fantasies like as if it were certain. And it's interesting because you don't hear a lot about the social pressure.
