i can only hear hints of the indian influence in the rhythm rather than n because the sound world is definitely kind of western orchestral, isn't it? Yes, i'm not super familiar with ty indian classical nthe rhythms or like to even be able to pick up that there was any trace of that in the beginning. This first movement features something called a cama raga which is generally performed at midnight to fully explore the beauty of the melody. To combine those two is really quite a beautiful thing.
