The Life and Times of Bonaventure
Bonaventure was asked to be the seventh minister general of the Franciscan order when he was 40. He got pulled out of his intellectual and academic career to devote himself to serving the friars. Bonaventure died in 1274, one of the most tragic councils in history because it's because of the Council of the On that both St. Thomas and Bonaventure die.
