i've been interested in this area for a very long time. i don't think that the sensory worlds of animals have e only when they surpass ours. I think they are valued just in their own right, because they are so very different. And that's why i said quite early on in the book that er an immense world is a book about diversity, not superiority. It's about those differences, though, i think are fascinating.
