Is There a Connection Between Memory and Machine Learning?
Auseve: There's this long running debate about where memories are stored in the brain. And so when we were looking at this, we were trying to find am ideas that might have been overlooked. Auseve: If you're training from a fixed set of data, a fixed batch of data, and you're going through it again and again, then idiosyncrasies of that data can cause you to learn spurious relationships. We thought maybe this was relevant to a system consolidation. What its saying is that there's only so much replay you should do to sort o try to on cud those memories into neo cortex.
