Was Pausanias Acting Alone?

After stabbing Philip Pausanias, he is pursued by several of Philip's bodyguards. He trips on a vine with his sandals and goes sprawling in the dust. It's a little Jack Ruby-ish though, isn't it? And people have been wondering ever since that moment: Was Pausinias acting alone?
