The Eugenbund and the Bonfire

When he was six, Beppo fell into a rain barrel and very nearly drowned. Joseph is on what you might call the precocious gifted kid track in school. He earns really good grades in primary school, kind of average grade in his secondary school because he's absent often due to being sick. The Eugenbund did not accept Jews because they could not express their characteristic qualities if there was alien in crustacean allowed to flourish. And this rain barrel incident's got to linger with him for a while because he gets a case of blood poisoning.
