Rugby is one of the most competitive sports in South Africa. The English Shragbi system works to try and de-emphasize the consequences of competition. But it's not about hurting people's feelings or being work, it's because you want every one of those 30 kids playing rugby for at least three or four more years. And we're trying to turn high school teams into high performance teams where they should be just development teams. We've got under 13 state championships that are almost like victims of their own resource abundance.
