Try and squash the amount of time you're doing non retrieval practice stuff, like making notes. And more time, either later in the day or later in the process, or preferably oth moving on as quickly as possible to retrieve answers for your exam. I was lucky enough to be able to go into a test centre to take my on line exam, whereas other people had to use soft war that was provided by a major education corporation. The tech didn't really work so some people were logging on to their exam and then having e been faced with a blank screen for after an hour. They would forfeit the exam if they were to do so.
