Lacan's Theory of Anxiety

The primary target for Lacan with anxiety is Heidegger, Sart and Freud. These are the folks that he opens up seminar 10 with. What Lacan wants to say is a very simple riff that distinguishes his theory of anxiety from most of what's happening in the Western tradition. Everybody on this call can weigh in and tell you exactly what they are afraid of.
