The Transformation of Bichu
People of Bichu are working on their mental health as much as they are rebuilding shopping centers and homes. The citizens of butcher to basically come together and twice a week practice art therapy to talk through the atrocities that they saw. And everyone I spoke to started crying, as she was talking about what she had seen in the family members they had lost with the friends that had been killed. But they are all telling me that they are in a better place then they could have ever imagined because of this therapy.
