There is no evidence to suggest that fish oil does anything useful, and it certainly doesn't impact cardio vascular risk in any way. A meta analysis of 13 randamise control tri s involving a hundred and 27 thousand participants found omega three supplementation was associated with lower risk ratios of a variety of cardio ascular outcomes. But if you look at these risk ratios, they're not that impressive. It's risk ratios of point two, point nine, five, point nine,. seven and so like. That's a thing that is lower than one, and the confidence intervals do not cross one. So they are statistically significant.
