M molard: I was just thinking about that wonderful story. Joseph is playing this key role in Egypt as the number two to Pharaoh and makes provision and saves thousands of lives from famine. And then he meets up with his brothers accidentally and they are terrified that he's going to take retribution on them. He says, don't be afraid. You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good. So there's a deep reassurance in that even though human intentions are sometimes for evil or careless or pointless, there is a deeper intention that God is at work. This doesn't mean that we shouldn't bother. It certainly doesn't release us from human responsibility, but it helps us
