Penn Medicine's Home Based Care Model Could Save Money
50% of the chemotherapy and medical infusions that are done at Penn Medicine are done in the patients home. We have doubles every couple of years doubled our investment in home care. I am blessed in our system that a patient moves to home because there's always another patient that needs a hospital bed right now. A lot of the future is going to be if you move out of the hospital, this is the hospital close.
