There are 600 billion rupee package of new revenue measures needs to be agreed upon. It means hiking of income tax rates on salary people and corporate income tax rates. This will have to be done in the next few days. Coupled with that, there's a circular debt reduction plan that they were supposed to announce. News coming out of the meetings is that whatever plan was placed before them lacked the credibility.
