Status dimension is how we perceive social status in others and within organizational contexts. It may be education level, income or even something like ability. prestige can also get you to higher status through your skills and abilities. All of these different dimensions can contribute to where we stand in the hierarchy but some are perhaps more important than others depending on the context.
