Andi was mapping a river when he saw the largest polar bear he'd ever seen. The adult male weighed well over a thousand pounds, an had big hump on its back. Polar bears are essentially fasting because they don't have any seals to eat at this time of year.
We live in a noisy world by any estimation. And while we need people, we also need solitude.
This week I’m speaking with Adam Shoalts, who was named one of the “greatest living explorers” by Canadian Geographic. Adam is an author, speaker, and adventurer who has learned to tap into the rejuvenating power of solitude.
In our conversation, Adam reminds us about the importance of the solo adventure in life to reconnect with ourself and rediscover what matters most. I hope you will feel inspired to create more space than you have right now.
