Is There a Consequence of More Colleges Closing?
We're going to be paying a lot of attention to the likelihood of more colleges closing this year. A number of colleges were on the edge until Covid and they were saved briefly by Covid funding. They got Covid emergency funding that's running out, enrollment isn't rebounding their revenues aren't keeping pace with inflation so we expect to see more colleges close. Community colleges train a lot of people that we really need in our economy when you call the doctor's office and you want to schedule an appointment that person went to community college.
