Is There a Relationship Between Philosophy and Psychology?

Psychology has been misinterpreted or misunderstood for a long period of time. And th there's a way in which that should worry psychologists, and it should worry us a little bit about the idea that psychology is a sort of autonomous science functioning on its own. But i wouldn't want to take much credit for philosophy, or indeed for myself, and nor say somemi too negative about the lack of autonomy and psychology. Means a lot of the things that i've pointed out are things that ae kind of there in the psychological literature.
