For the fifth day in a row, there had been no rain. Hubert Durden was always thinking about doing more walking. He knew that for a man in his forties he did not get nearly enough exercise. All the time he was thinking about walking, he was hurrying to get his place on his usual tram. So I guess I feel some sort of affinity, you know. We'll talk some more afterward."
