What Draws You to This Book?
I think most poetry today that's written isn't poetry at all, it's nothing. It's free verse free verses now more than 100 years old. We've had free verse ever since Whitman and Williams was another one William Harlow swears. You have to do something with the lines. And we now more and more have poetry pick up any magazine, a poetry magazine, and the poetry is just prose. I don't understand what makes them think they're writing poetry.
