Is It Too Little for You to Weary Men?

Prophecy can have more than one fulfilment, as we see in the bible. A young woman would give birth to a son whose name emmanuel, means god with us. While this child was still very young, before he knew how to between good and evil, the other two kings would be defeated. But that didn't stop the prophecy from having an even greater fulfilment centuries later when jesus christ was born. And matthew points this out in the first chapter of his gospel. Even though preterism should be our starting point for interpreting revelation, that wouldn't stop idealism and futurism from also having validity.
