The Problem With Unpopular Opinions
Go needs larger integer types, int 128, int 256, int 512. The processors nowadays have all of these crazy extra instructions that take giant inputs and giant operands. And so when they had to go to these big integer types, they had to pick even stupider names. I'm afraid that's the problem. That's the other problem is to have an unpopular opinion that people don't understand.
